With Elements 2024 on dual 4k monitors (Elements full screen on only one monitor) and Wacom Intuos tablet, if the Elements "UI Scale Factor" is set to Auto or 200%, then where the cursor shows and where the brush draws is offset up and to the left by close to a quarter of the screen. So if you draw with the cursor in the upper left quadrant, it will ink in the lower right. So to draw in the upper right of an image you need to have the cursor up and to the left outside of the image. But pen pressure works fine and changes the width of the brush. If you draw in any of the other quadrants of the screen, the cursor and the brush are aligned but pressure does not work and you get a fixed brush size. This seems to indicate that the pen is being read as "mouse mode" outside of where Elements thinks the screen is, and in "Windows Ink" mode elsewhere. And the PSUserConfig trick doesn't seem to work anymore. So, either run Elements withUI Scale Factor at 100% and tiny menus and tools but the pen works in full pressure glory. Or change the pen driver to not do Windows Ink and then in Auto or 200% mode, the mneus are nice, and the pen draws everywhere but no pressure sensing.
Seems a bug in the Adobe scaling code?

I don't know whether this will help, but try overriding the High DPI settings in the Properties dialog of the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe file. See my screenshot for directions.

That didn't exactly fix it - but let me find a workable option. My display setting is 125%. So I turned off the scaling in Elements (set to 100%) - which worked before but made everything way small. But then I changed the setting you mentioned to be System (Enhanced) and it seem Elements is at 125% everywhere now (instead of 100% everywhere or 200% menus and toolbar and 100% content area). Not only does it work correctly with the pen now, but having the menus and toolbar at 125% is actually a nicer size. Thanks for the idea!

I have a similar issue and while I can set UI Scale Factor to 100% and get the pen to work in all areas of the page now all the buttons are ridiculously small. However, when I tried to override the High DPI settings like shown in the screenshot, I don't have the compatability option for editing my photoshoplementseditor application properties. Do you know why@Greg_S.?

I have never seen the exe file missing the file extension. A quick Google suggests that it may have been caused by your anti-virus program. All I can suggest is to manually edit the file name by adding the .exe extension. If that doesn't work, I suggest you try contacting Elements support. You can start a chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page. (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen) Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens. (If you use my link, the chat window should open automatically.) That will avoid the robo chat.
